Andersen Charnley trades as a Holistic Wealth Manager. We are one of the UK’s premier privately-owned holistic wealth management firms. The company’s headquarters is in Surrey and we have a large London office in the heart of the City.
For the last 20 years the team have been providing a unique service to a relatively small and select group of people whom have been qualified as clients through a planning process. The service aims to deliver the objectives identified in that planning process over an extended period of time. It delivers a comprehensive and integrated tax and financial advice service through a relationship manager whom has the support of a large central team of experts. This service is holistic and integrated with the client’s objectives, as recorded in a lifestyle plan which is the focus of the team’s attentions.
We offer two models to clients each with three risk profiles. The Bespoke model is for clients with over £750k, whilst the DIS model starts at £350k with a largely telephone support service model. The DIS model facilitates a move up to Bespoke as assets grow and warrant the more comprehensive service. Each Bespoke client has an Asset Manager and a para-planner to support them with a client ratio of some 30 per team. All DIS clients are provided a Discretionary Investment Service and most Bespoke clients take this service too but it is a far more engaging model allowing for client uniqueness, personal views and differing lifestyles, with a quarterly meetings process and proactivity relating to the client needs.
Historically the size of the company (some 50 staff) has been kept deliberately small enough to care and large enough to deliver a professional service. We provide advice on client assets which will be some £500m by the end of 2009. Our three year plan is for strictly controlled growth to cater for the sort of clients requesting our services.
